Summer '66

This was an awesome summer for me. Dad was working at his companies Ogden branch for a month or more that summer. (We stayed at the Circle R Motel in Roy) So, like, every weekend we went camping with the Batley clan. Had a blast!
The bottom 2 pics I'm not sure where they were taken. Mom put these pix in one of those photo albums where the page is stickey, with a plastic sheet over them. Can't peel the pix out to see what may be written on the back, but some have stuff written on the front. There's some shots of Yellowstone there, so those 2 may be there. Looks like the river water was cold, where ever it was!!
The others are marked "Scofield Lake". Kinda wierd how some are black and white, others are color.
Oh, and BTW, this was the summer that REALLY got me to want to move to Utah. Dad was supposed to eventually get transferred to Ogden after this. After we went back home, he was sent to Seattle to work at Boeing for what was supposed to be 6 months. (His company was doing some work for Boeing on the 747). He went up, and that 6 months kept getting extended. Eventually the whole Ogden thing went away, as that company got bought out and things were kind of going down hill there. Boeing gave dad a permamnant job offer, and I watched Utah blow away. Hated Washington completely. What's wierd, is I just found out awhile ago that the guy that started the company that I work at now, used to work for that same company that dad did, at Ogden. He left there to start his own shop when things went downhill. Co-inky-dink, or what!!??
